Roof/Sun Deck News

Happy to report that our Roof/Sun Deck will be open this year!

The details as far as the opening date, hours of operation and general rules will be sent out to everyone next week, but I thought it may be nice to put some happy vibes out in our world!

Friendly reminder about balconies and gravity…

We all know the dangers of loose objects and windy cities, like ours – if it is not nailed down, it may grow wings and fly off. Please, please, please keep a close watch on all personal belongings when out on your balcony as we are serious about the damage that can be caused to the people below – safety has to be of paramount concern for all.

For the smokers, there is a special potential for damage or injury, so control those embers with ashtrays designed for outdoor use – Amazon has a ton to choose from in every price bracket. Intentional flicking of a lit cigar/cigarette/other is absolutely prohibited and is just wrong… not much else to say, other than please don’t.

Lastly, cleaning and watering plants or flowers… lets not drown the pedestrians or the person below you that just cleaned their balcony and outdoor furniture. No one wants to have their stuff drenched – yuk.

Everyone thanks you and is happy knowing that we will all take care when enjoying our fantastic spaces!

When it is time to take the beautiful puppies for a stroll in the neighborhood, outside of making sure they look fabulous, keep an eye on the signs around the Sandburg Village grounds. Make sure the pups are always leashed and the tidying-after, goes without saying.
