Good morning fine people of JK!
Thank you all for checking out our enhanced virtual communication platform (fancy way to say website)! I can tell by the analytical data that an overwhelming amount of residents are “clicking” from the auto-notifications – this is great news, as it shows the message is getting through to you… it is good to “be in the know”.
With everything in mind, and the many requests for building updates on a weekly basis, we will be adding a Friday Round-Up style of posting. This week will kick-off a longer post with several topics, rather than individual notes. There will still be smaller postings as needed, so more communication and not less. OK, intro is done, on to the meat of the week…

Circle Drive/Fountain Construction – Starting Monday, the construction crew will be pouring concrete and asphalt at the garage entrance/exit; there will be traffic pattern changes, so please take it slow, keep an eye out for direction staff to guide you in and out safely.
This leads us into reopening the LL to James House… yes, we are nearly there; we anticipate bringing you the good news that you may finally be able to access the garage from the lower level of James House. We anticipate opening next Friday, September 4th – keep an eye out for the official notice next week!
For the many that have been asking, yes, HOA intends to run the fountain this year. They are providing a tentative fill and flow day within the next two weeks… I am excited as I have not been able to witness this display yet! I am curious to see if it is anything like the Bellagio in Las Vegas… you know, with Claire de Lune softly playing in the background, magical lighting, the sound of slot machines – well maybe we can forego that last bit. Anyway, looking forward to a reopening of this water feature and hope you are too!

Peter’s Corner – a quick tip from our Chief Engineer, Peter… as we wind down the excessive heat and humidity days, please try to keep the windows in your unit closed when running the A/C. Not only does this help in reducing energy, but it will certainly help in minimizing condensation from the fan coil units (FCU), which in-turn, lessens the chance for a drip pan overflow and leak into your neighbor’s unit – a dry house is a happy house =)

That’s it for the week – go out and enjoy! I hear the forecast is beautiful and hope everyone takes some time to enjoy the good life! “Onward and Upward“, a famous person once said… [e]see you next week!
